Iowa State’s Stacy Frese has been named the women’s basketball player of the week in the Big 12 after a sizzling outside shooting performance.

Frese tied an NCAA record by making all eight of her 3-point shots in a 79-58 victory over Nebraska. She scored 29 points in that game and had 12 points and six assists in an 80-54 win at Missouri.

For the week, the 5-foot-8 junior averaged 20.5 points and 4.5 assists while shooting 52.3 percent from the field.
