Abortion insert

The abortion insert in [Tuesday’s] Daily really got me thinking.ÿMy first instinct was to make fun of it by pointing out its ridiculous persuasions:

“For instance, isn’t it exciting to discover … that the miniature language mapping out the new baby at the time of fertilization contains more information about him/her than can be stored in five sets (not volumes) of Encyclopedia Britannica?”

I think people know what DNA is and a fly probably has the same amount. Do we care if we kill flies?

All kinds of companies are working hard to make better chemicals to extinguish the lives of billions of insects. Is this right? Who fights for their rights?

Life begins at conception. I don’t think so. That’s like asking, “Which came first?ÿThe chicken or the egg?”

Life is always present. Life is everywhere. Life hasn’t stopped.ÿ So how could it begin?

Does God set the rules for right and wrong? “Thou shall not kill.” Then why has he designed some of his creatures to kill their young?

Male cats, wild and domestic, will kill cubs that aren’t their own. Animals in the desert will eat their young if they have too many or are starving.

Did God create these creatures?

This is a difficult subject. I don’t think this insert does the subject justice.

One needs to hear information from both sides of the story.ÿ

As in all matters, don’t trust information from one source.
