After two impressive performances on Friday, the Iowa State wrestling team continued to dominate its opponents by easily beating Missouri and Truman State on Sunday.

The fifth-ranked Cyclones completed their weekend road trip with a perfect 4-0 record and are now 18-5-1 overall for the season.

Iowa State defeated Missouri 32-9 to notch its first regular season conference win.

Joe Heskett pinned his opponent at the 6:54 mark, and Benjie Winegarden and Cael Sanderson recorded major decisions for the Cyclones.

At 157 pounds, David Maldonado won by a score of 7-1 and Zach Thompson continued to wrestle impressively by winning 9-3.

Perry Parks is constantly improving while adjusting to his new weight class and came away with an 11-6 decision. Heavyweight Mark Knauer was able to win a tight 3-1 contest.

Iowa State then had to travel to Kirksville to face Truman State later that evening. Despite the inconvenience, ISU easily defeated TSU 47-9.

Third-ranked Cody Sanderson and Maldonado each won major decisions, and Corey Stevenson wrestled tough to get a 5-3 victory at heavyweight.

Cole Sanderson redeemed a 6-5 loss against Missouri with a pin against TSU, and Nick Britton followed suit with a fall at 197 pounds.

The freshman tandem of second-ranked Cael Sanderson and Heskett each came away with pins against Truman State, which gives No. 1 Heskett a Big-12-leading 13 falls on the season.

Cael and Heskett lead the Cyclones with a combined total of 57-0 on the season.

ISU will face No. 10 Arizona State at 2 p.m. at Hilton Coliseum this Sunday.
