My God, my God
February 16, 1999
Tim Morgan’s letter to the editor “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” reawoke within me the most profound spine-shivering emotions bearing upon human grief and despondency.
Nowhere in literature does one find such an emotionally charged wail of complete and utter desperation.
“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” stands as a monumental example of the power of words to stir and evoke the most profound feelings of human drama and tragedy.
