The winners of the 1999 Varieties second cuts were announced Saturday, Feb. 13 at midnight in the Great Hall of the Memorial Union. Three skits (“A New Frame of Mind,” “Troubled Waters” and “The Search for the Key”), three vignettes (D-Train and the Fantz All-Stars, Bhangra (Indian Dancing Troupe) and Miranda Squires) and one emcee team (Stu Sorrel, Mike Morris, Eric Padgent) were chosen to perform at the sweepstakes performances.

The sweepstakes shows will be held Friday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 27 at 6:30 and 9 p.m. in the Great Hall. Tickets for both performances are $5 and can be purchased at TicketMaster locations.
