The industrial/techno/rock band’s tenth and final album, “Adios,” will be unveiled on April 13, just barely after the group’s March 1st, 15-year anniversary.

In other upcoming releases news, two major record labels will be combining their sources to release the “Best of Planet Groove” this spring.

The 15-track compilation is the first segment of a series of planned collaborations between Black Entertainment Television’s Fully Loaded Records and Virgin Records, a Virgin press release reported.

Due in stores March 23, the album will consist of artists such as Janet, Mariah Carey, Montell Jordan and Boyz II Men.

Also in March, Priority Records will be releasing the “Wu-Chronicles” and “The NWA Legacy Volume 1:1988-1998.”

The prior will contain “new, hard to find and previously released Wu and Wu family related tracks,” a recent press release said.

“The NWA Legacy” is a double CD featuring Ice Cube, Eazy-E, Dr. Dre and the NWA extended family. 2Pac and Snoop Dogg will make contributions to the 26-track album as well.

With all of this talk of what’s happening in March, one can’t help but think of St. Patrick’s day. Well, the green-beer holiday is a few months away, but this Thursday, you can get your fill of some traditional Irish tunes as the M-Shop hosts “Ireland’s most happening trad band.”

Altan, recognized by its dual fiddles, will perform at 7:30 and 10 p.m. for $10, according to the M-Shop’s calendar. The Shop will be serving beer during the event, but you’ll probably have to bring your own green coloring.

Look out pretty-boy bands, a female contender has entered the pop star ring. After being on the planet for only 17 years, Britney Spears’ debut album, “Baby One More Time,” has clenched the No. 1 position on The Billboard 200 chart, according to Rocktropolis.

In response to her success, Spears sophisticatedly commented, “It’s really, really cool.”

In other Spears news, the former star of “The Mickey Mouse Club” told MTV News that she might appear on a few episodes of “Dawson’s Creek.”

Shooting is expected to begin in late spring.
