I was very happy to see Tuesday’s article about Linda Hagge. She is my advisor and one of the best teachers I have ever had.

She actually made taking English 220 (grammar) enjoyable. Any teacher who can do that is a top teacher in my opinion.

After switching my major from engineering to English, I was amazed at the level of enthusiasm she had for her job. She has been a source of positive encouragement for me.

It was quite a change from the seemingly uninterested engineering advisors I had before.

Hats off to Linda and to the Daily for recognizing her.
