  • Diversity lunch held today — “Brown Bag Lunch with Diversity Scholars” will be held today at noon at the Margaret Sloss Women’s Center. Robert Baum, assistant professor of religious studies, will be discussing “Women in African Religions.”

The lunch is part of a series sponsored by women’s studies, African-American studies and the women’s center. The program is in its first year at Iowa State.

Beverages will be provided.

  • Honor society sponsoring drive — Phi Upsilon Omicron, a family and consumer sciences honor society, is sponsoring a holiday drive starting today and running through Thursday.

Canned foods, nonperishable items, hats and mittens may be donated to “The Giving Tree,” located in the LeBaron Hall Foyer.

The food donations will be used in food baskets for local disabled and elderly persons. Hats and mittens will be donated to youth.
