• HELP and GOINAGED collect for Honduras — Honduras Emergency Life Relief Program (HELP) and the Agricultural Education and Studies Department Graduate Organization (GOINAGED) are collecting donations to send to Honduras today and Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m. on the north side of the Memorial Union.

The groups want to collect primarily food, clothing, medicine, household items and kitchen items.

Honduras was hit by the wrath of Hurricane Mitch on Oct. 28; hundreds were killed or wounded in the storm.

Alejandrina Carrasco, graduate student in agricultural education and studies and member of both HELP and GOINAGED, said the collected items will be sent to the Fundazion Maria, an organization founded by the first lady of Honduras.
