Thank you, Sarah Leonard. Finally people are realizing what a waste of time it is to “pretend to go dry” and are saying it out loud.

I have never met anyone who is in favor of Dry Veishea or who thought it was fun last year.

Yet when voting time comes around, all of these unanimous decisions favoring a dry Veishea pop up out of nowhere.

Who the hell is voting for this and why? Who are you trying to impress?

People who believe in Dry Veishea are an overwhelming minority.

It is hypocritical to support this and then leave your dry campus to get plowed somewhere else that weekend.

I wish this campus would get some balls and step up to authority. Stop trying to act like “good little boys and girls” and realize that you came to college to get away from Mommy and Daddy.

We are intelligent and can handle ourselves.

James Janos said it best while running for governor of Minnesota, “You cannot legislate stupidity; people are going to do stupid things.

We cannot sit and every time someone does something stupid, make it a law and have the government come in because if you do that, you are going to lose your freedoms.”

We should not be penalized for the actions of others. Have some damn self-respect and say what’s on your mind.
