Loyal Cyclone student and basketball fan wants answers

I am writing after attending my first men’s basketball game of the season, and while the game itself was VERY enjoyable, I was extremely disappointed in the change in student admission.

What is the reason for making the students walk all the way to the north doors of Hilton Coliseum to attend a game? Doesn’t the Athletic Department realize that without the students, there would be no Iowa State University or any such athletic events?

I am tired of being screwed by the Athletic Department just because I don’t donate thousands of dollars, outside of tuition, of course, to the university.

I would just like to say that I am not the only student at ISU who feels this way, and I will refuse to acknowledge this arrangement once colder weather hits.

I do not live within walking distance of the coliseum and find it extremely rude to have to park in the complete opposite direction of the door into which I am “required” to enter.

If anyone cares about how the students at ISU feel about supporting their athletic teams, maybe the Athletic Department should reconsider such a stupid decision.

I am an otherwise loyal Cyclone student and basketball fan.
