The women’s golf team closed out the fall portion of their schedule with a 7th place finish at the Beacon Woods Invitational in Bayonet Point, Florida.

The Cyclones shot a 54-hole score of 942.

The host team, South Florida, won the tourney with a total of 903.

Cathy Ennis lead the Cyclone charge with a three-round total of 234, which left her in a tie for 20th. Her tournament was highlighted by a second round 76. She also finished strong with a 77.

Heather Elenbaas also had a strong showing.

Elenbaas had rounds of 78 and 77 and finished with a total of 236, which landed her tied for 25th in the tournament.

Noel Jacobusse started off strong with rounds of 76 and 78 but stumbled with a final round 83 to finish with 237.

Megan O’Dea and Glynnis McMath closed out the Cyclones tourney with scores of 239 and 242, respectively.

The Cyclones next tournament will not come until February, when they will head to the Regional Challenge in Palos Verde, California.

The fall season saw a promising team that was also inconsistent at times.

The team, which was lead all year by five sophomores, was at its best at the Colorado Invitational, where it placed third and set several team records in the process.

Individually, Noel Jacobusse had the highest finish when she was co-medalist at the Big 12 Preview.
