Clearly Abe Alsop misunderstood what my letter about the Matt Shepard murder stated.

My point was that people who promote hate in the name of Christianity and God are indirectly responsible for the hate crimes that are committed against gays and any others who may be a target group.

If people like Alsop are unclear about this concept and cannot see the parallels, maybe they need to question where they really stand on the issue.

Perhaps a guilty conscience is present?

I applaud the Daily for printing all opinions regardless of whether or not they reflect all of its readers.
