Dave Matthews Band, the last great rock ‘n’ roll group according to SPIN magazine, will play at Hilton Coliseum in Ames on Dec. 17 at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $27.50 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Oct. 24.

Tickets can be purchased at the Iowa State Center ticket office located at Stephens Auditorium, all Ticketmaster centers, by phone at 233-1888 or on-line at www.ticketmaster.com.

Dave Matthews Band is touring in support of its latest release, “Before These Crowded Streets,” which features the hit singles “Stay” and “Don’t Drink The Water.”

Past Dave Matthews Band singles include “So Much To Say,” “Crash Into Me,” “Tripping Billies,” “What Would You Say,” “Satellite” and “Ants Marching.”
