OISS and SUB host Free Coffee Fridays

Free Coffee Fridays are held every Friday in the Food Court’s Pine Room of the Memorial Union from 3 to 5 p.m.

The program, which is in its second year, is available to Iowa State students and members of the Ames community.

It is offered through the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) and the Student Union Board (SUB).

Ethos magazine hosts ‘Frolf with Ethos’

Ethos magazine and Domino’s Pizza are hosting “Frolf with Ethos” today from noon until 3 p.m.

All students are invited to the event, which will be held north of the Campanile.

The October issue of Ethos will feature an article on disc golf.

ISU students will be able to play disc golf, eat pizza and drink soda during the event.

According to a press release, Frisbees will be given to the first 110 disc golf players and prizes, provided by Domino’s, will be awarded randomly throughout the day.

The refreshments and slices of pizza will cost $1.
