This weekend should be an interesting one in the world of sports. The NFL heads into week four, the college football season starts conference play, and the baseball season heads into the final weekend with a couple of races still to be decided.

FRIDAY

7:05 Chicago Cubs at Houston Astros. The Cubs have lost four of their last five in their battle for the wild card spot with the Mets. They will face an Astro club that is still battling for the best record in the National League.

6:40 New York Mets at Atlanta Braves. These two NL East teams do battle with two races on the line.

SATURDAY

12:30 Washington at Nebraska. These two teams battle in what will be by far the sternest test for the Cornhuskers so far.

12:00 Kentucky at Florida. Tim Couch and the Wildcats will look to continue their strong start as they head into Gainsville to face the Gators.

2:30 USC at Florida State. These two proud programs will go at it in this nonconference struggle at Tallahassee.
