‘Nutcracker Ballet’

The Iowa State Center’s 18th annual production of “The Nutcracker Ballet” has scheduled auditions for roles in this year’s three performances on Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. at Stephens Auditorium.

The ballet will be performed Dec. 11-12 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 12 at 3 p.m.

Registration begins at 11:15 a.m. Sunday. Children roles (must be at least 8 years old) will audition at noon, adults at 3 p.m. and ballet dancers at 4 p.m.

All dancers should wear leotards, tights and ballet or pointe shoes. Enter Stephens through the stage door on the southeast side.
