‘Materials’ lecture to be given Friday

Terry M. Tritt, professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy and the materials science and engineering department at Clemson University, will be giving a lecture at Iowa State titled “Investigation of new materials for thermoelectric applications.”

The lecture will be held Friday, Sept. 11, at 4:10 p.m. in Room 1352 of Gilman Hall. The lecture is sponsored by the ISU chemistry department.

Darrell Eyman, professor in the chemistry department at the University of Iowa, will be speaking at ISU on the topic of “Metallo-stereoelectronic Effects in eta to the fifth-Cyclohexadienylmanganese Species: Hydridic C-H Bonds.”

The lecture will be held Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 4:10 p.m. in Room 1352 of Gilman Hall. The lecture is sponsored by the ISU chemistry department.
