Prissteens crap-rock leaves little to be desired

The Prissteens
New York City has spewed out many annoying things to the general public, including a nose-burning stench and Fran Drescher of “The Nanny.”
Topping the list of annoyances is the crap-rock band known as the Prissteens and its latest release.
Judging by its sheik appearance, you’d expect some pretty heavy glam rock, but what you get are sappy tunes that conjure up images of sock hops and waitresses on roller skates.
Shockingly, the group is some kind of “lost in the ’60s” rock band. The song “The Hound” proves that fact with its old-style rock patterns.
“I Don’t Cry” is like a “Happy Days” teen dance, and “Run Back To You” is the kind of song that will appeal to your parents.
The group could easily be a normal rock band, but the group needs to focus more on music for the ’90s.
The Prissteens get one star just because they have a CD, and I don’t.
