Support for differences

Matthew M. Maixner

Although I wasn’t there for the event itself, I do kind of wish in a way that I was. The reason for this is because I have many friends who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender. I know in my own heart that I would’ve been there not to be a part of the massive displays of affection that went on there, but to be in support of a community of human beings.

Nonetheless, we may scrutinize people just because of their differences, their race, their creed, their color, their religion. But what it all boils down to is that the people that we criticize are all human as well.

Since Christians seem to believe so heavily in creationism, and since we’re all technically descendants of Adam and Eve, wouldn’t that make them bisexual as well?

The point is, we’re all of the same material, flesh, blood, and bones.

“Tickle us do we not laugh, prick us do we not bleed, wrong us do we not revenge?” — William Shakespeare.
