Free ice cream social Tuesday

The Veishea entertainment committee would like to invite all Iowa State students to help kick off Veishea with free ice cream.

The program, “Ice Cream Social,” will be held on Tuesday between 1 and 3 p.m. on the south side of Parks Library.

Veishea committee members will distribute ice cream cones, root beer floats and sundaes in a tent outside the library.

“It’s a chance for students to come in and have fun,” said Gretchen Lembrich, campus event chairwoman of the Veishea committee.

“We want to bring something nice for everyone in Iowa State and kick off Veishea,” she said.
