The Last Chance Meet, also known as the NCAA Qualifying Meet, will be held this Saturday at the Lied Recreation Center. The meet commences at 9 a.m.

The Cyclone men’s and women’s track teams will compete in order to earn marks good enough to put them in the NCAA Meet, which will be held in Indianapolis, Ind., March 13-14.

Bird brings Mayor back to Ames

This fall Hilton Coliseum will play host to an NBA Exhibition game between the Chicago Bulls and the Indiana Pacers. The contest will be held on October 25 at 6 p.m.

Tickets for the event go on sale Saturday May 30 at 10 a.m. and are available through Ticketmaster. Prices start at $15.50 and go as high as $60.50.

The Pacers team is coached by former Celtic standout Larry Bird. Mayor Fred Hoiberg will grace his home hardwood.
