Iowa State freshman guard Megan Taylor was named to “The Women’s Basketball Journal” 1998 Freshman All-American squad.

Taylor, who was also named the Big 12 Freshman of the Year by the league’s coaches, averaged 13.9 points and a team-high 8.2 rebounds for the Cyclones.

She started every game this season and is ISU’s all-time freshman rebounding (270) and scoring (460) leader.
