Major gift for journalism school announced today

A major announcement concerning Iowa State’s journalism and mass communications program will be made by ISU President Martin Jischke at a special event at 4 p.m. today in the Great Hall of the Memorial Union.

The announcement involves a multi-million dollar gift from Robert and Diane Greenlee, ISU journalism and mass communication alums who have enjoyed great business success in Colorado, and the establishment of a “school of journalism and communication.”

The school will be named in honor of Robert and Diane Greenlee and will be the first school in ISU’s history. The Greenlees’ will be on hand for the announcement.


Story County Conservation Board meeting postponed

The Story County Conservation Board’s monthly meeting has been postponed to Monday beginning at 7 p.m. at the Story County Conservation Center in McFarland Park north of Ames.

Call the center for additional information at 232-2516 on Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.


Spring break hours for Municipal Indoor Pool

Municipal Pool will have extended hours during spring break. The hours will be Monday through Friday from 1 to 8 p.m.
