AMES (AP) — Iowa State keeps winning games and the Cyclones’ Megan Taylor keeps winning the Big 12’s rookie of the week honor. Taylor earned the honor for the fourth time this season after helping ISU beat Oklahoma State and then-No. 25 Nebraska last week.

The 5-foot-11 freshman had 17 points, seven rebounds and five assists in a 68-63 victory at Oklahoma State, then came up with 18 points, a season-high 16 rebounds and five assists in an 83-69 victory over Nebraska.

Taylor is the only freshman who has won the rookie of the week honor this season. The other players who have won are transfers.
