GSB president vote

ISU students: Today is your last opportunity to voice your opinion in the Government of the Student Body elections. Don’t underestimate the impact that GSB has on your life as an Iowa State student. GSB affects every aspect of your college career, from where your tuition money goes to whether Veishea will occur. We need a responsible person in the executive office to carry out all of these responsibilities.

Bryan Burkhardt is the person for this job. All of us have worked directly with all of the presidential candidates, and Bryan Burkhardt has shown dedication far above the rest.

During his time at Iowa State, Bryan has been involved in a wide range of activities. You’ve already heard his credentials; what you haven’t heard is the sincerity, hard work and dedication that he has put into every one of his commitments at ISU. Bryan Burkhardt has been active as a GSB senator, not just attending meetings, but taking the extra step.

He has served as chair of the Senate Discretionary Committee and been one of the only senators to attend and help with GSB cabinet events such as WelcomeFest, Campus Olympics and the Multicultural Center Think Tank. He has also taken an active role in supporting the Graduate Student Senate and the Articles of Cooperation, as well as working with the International Student Council senators to support students affected by the Asian currency crises.

With Bryan, what you see is what you get. Bryan has not been putting effort into GSB to win a presidential campaign; he has been working hard because complete dedication is just what he does. There is no one better than Bryan Burkhardt to serve you as president of the Government of the Student Body.
