Women’s Club scholarships

Applications are being accepted for Women’s Club scholarships.

The Des Moines Women’s Club will grant Memorial Scholarships of $1,000 to applicants at the undergraduate or the graduate levels.

To qualify, students must be residents of any of the local counties. Applications and letters of recommendation are due Monday.

FCS undergraduate scholarships

Undergraduate scholarships are available for students in the College of Family and Consumer Sciences.

The applicant must have attended college at least one academic semester and earned a GPA equal to or greater than 2.50.

Also, the student must have successfully completed 10 credits and must be enrolled as an undergraduate major in FCS.

Students may pick up applications in Rooms 27, 122 or 124 in MacKay Hall. Completed forms are due in 122 MacKay Hall by Sunday.

Black Hawk County scholarships

Applications for a $500 scholarship for women attending ISU are now being accepted by the Black Hawk County Iowa State University Women’s Club.

ISU women from Black Hawk County who will be entering their junior or senior year next fall are eligible. They must have a 2.5 GPA, show need and plan to complete their degree at ISU.

Deadline is March 3. Forms can be picked up at the Financial Aid Office, Room 12 Beardshear Hall.
