The Maintenance Shop crew will host its annual Bob Marley Birthday Bash Saturday night with the African reggae band Baaro.

Originally known as Dallol, the band was personally invited to Jamaica by Rita Marley.

A friendship developed with the family, and Bob’s son Ziggy played his first show with Dallol.

The reggae legends have since changed names and are amidst a national tour.

Baaro will play shows at 8 and 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $5, $4 for students.
