Despite losing a rough road game to the Illini squad, Iowa State’s hockey team received a top-ranking in the nation. ISU was previously ranked No. 2.

Former top dog, Penn State, dropped out of the first place spot after losing two over the weekend.

The Cyclone squad takes on Wisconsin-Whitewater this weekend at home. It is a big series, as ISU’s participation in the Central States league tournament is riding on these two games.
