In defense of the men’s and women’s basketball team, it’s very disappointing when the students, professors and/or residents are so negative. I’ll admit this year’s men’s team is not the same team as last year, but that is not a bad thing. Not only does the team have to adjust but so do the fans. As far as the women go, this is one of their best seasons ever. They are in the top 25, for goodness sake, and they are only getting better. It was unnecessary picking out one player from the whole team. One person does not make a team; every player relies on the entire team. Also, the attendance at the women’s games is increasing. Their accomplishments are endless and the “fans” should be proud of both teams.
