New simulator video game in MU

“Aqua Jet,” a simulator video game, has been added to the video games arcade in the Memorial Union Recreation Center.

The game features seating which moves as images change on screen, and participants step onto a jet-ski machine to play the game, which is projected onto a 50- inch screen.

Aqua Jet costs $1 per play.

The MU Recreation Center is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to midnight, Saturday, noon to midnight and Sunday, noon to 10 p.m.


JamFest ’98 trip Giveaway

Iowa State is one of eight universities selected for Coca-Cola’s JamFest ’98.

Coca-Cola will provide ISU a trip for two to South Padre Island over spring break, valued at $1,400.

Entries for the contest will be taken Jan. 30 through Feb. 12 in the Memorial Union’s Onion’s convenience store, the Maintenance Shop and the Food Court.

Entries also are available in the Design College’s Design Cafe. Winners will be announced Feb. 13.
