Halogen lamp ban

Chris Goodmonson

In the last few days, I have noticed articles about the fire in 3325 Larch Hall. Last semester was when the fire happened. There were many articles about it then. None of them were as degrading to the person that happened to be in the room at the time as the article on Thursday.

I feel that the opinion of him being an “idiot,” written by some (SPINELESS) anonymous person, was really uncalled for. He may be many things (good and bad), but not an idiot.

Things happen that might not have the best outcome. But it did happen. It happened a while ago and is very irritating to those of us from Wolf House. It does not need to be thrown in our faces and in the victim’s face.

Halogen lamp = possible fire hazard. Therefore, no halogen lamps are allowed. Recovering from a fire can be very costly, as many 3rd floor Larch residents can tell you. Can you spare it?

There are other forms of bright lighting besides halogen lamps styled after a torch. Not that many people had halogen lamps before, but for those that did and are upset, get over it. OK, it is nap time for you babies.
