Fresh from the release of the band’s latest song, “Little HOLS On The Prairie,” Cedar Falls natives House of Large Sizes bring its pop-punk sound to the M-Shop for all-ages shows at 8 and 11 p.m. Opening duties fall on the St. Louis foursome Pave The Rocket.
Goof-ball rockers The New Duncan Imperials will host its usual beginning of the semester bash at People’s Bar and Grill at 9 p.m.
Saturday
Experimental rockers Little Blue Crunchy Things play at the M-Shop at 9 p.m. along with Green Scene.
Ames own Good Things, lead by the Natalie Merchant-sounding vocals of Maggie Kolbe, play People’s Bar and Grill at 9 p.m.
