Reactive hysteria
December 11, 1997
From reading the Daily throughout this semester, I have to wonder if the Iowa State community gets a straightforward clue in learning how to generate concrete proactive change on this campus.
Apparently not, with too much reactive hysteria toward trivolity rather than direct purpose, it seems that nothing ever really gets done here except for a lot of pointless ponnification as a guise of free expression.
In the increasingly mad rush to ascribe political correctness by either not thinking for ourselves or challenging accountability from others, I feel that something genuine is missing from ISU which is the clear right to be ourselves without being told how and what to think, see, hear, feel and touch.
Let’s face it, everyone, ISU is a surreal place to being very proactive.
