My whole life I’ve been a big Cyclone fan — that’s one of the many reasons I chose to attend Iowa State.

During this past football season Cyclone fans have had to endure another losing season. If this isn’t hard enough by itself, we had to put up with the jealous, biased, lethargic options of Chad Calek. Mr. Calek has taken stupidity to all time new level. Thank God he is a senior.

Let’s tell the truth for one, Mr. Calek. The ISU football program is an embarrassment not only to the university, but also to the state and to anybody who follows football. The time has come to scrap the football program and spend the money more wisely. Now for the bitter TRUTH. The University of Nebraska has year in and year out been one of the best and cleanest football programs in the nation, with more than a 70 percent graduation rate and over 49 Academic All-Americans.
