Not two decades

Roger Kay

I can remember, way back when I was a student, often asking myself while reading the Daily if journalism students were required to take math classes while attending Iowa State. After seeing the headline “Reaching the second decade” on Sara Ziegler’s November 7 column, I see that once again some fine journalist has failed to grasp the concept that when one turns 20, life’s second decade has already ended and the third has begun.

Ah well, it’s refreshing to see that the more things change, the more they stay the same (at least when it comes to the Daily and math.)
