ISU parking abuses
October 1, 1997
Does anyone else share my curiosity in how the university gets away with parking their Iowa State marked cars (otherwise known as the “we-need-to-buy-the-luxury-model-and-need-to-raise-your-tuition-again” cars) by the curb in the lot by the Music Building?
I know if we, the “common people,” park next to the curb for more than two minutes, we’re slapped with $15 fines and towed after ten minutes.
These university-owned cars have been there for over a week and it doesn’t seem like they will be moved any time soon.
I guess it’s just another item to add to my list of how this university abuses its power and still makes money off of it.
