Ellen’s humor

Allison L. Colbert

I read your Sept. 9 article concerning Ellen Degeneres’ show. I watch “Ellen,” and find nothing wrong with its content.

“Men Behaving Badly” stunts of using old underwear for coffee filters, for example, is something I would not want children emulating.

But in the “Ellen” story, what’s wrong with showing love and emotional interactions? Love is naturally funny, and a mix-up, and sometimes takes people by surprise.

Humor is an integral part of our makeup and very necessary to reflect upon situations and assimilate new ideas.

Love definitely causes a little introspection by us all to live and let live, and to extend our good wishes to those who have found one another and are happy about it.
