Oct. 6
- While driving through Lot S-3 at Jack Trice Stadium, an officer found a vehicle that had its driver’s side window broken out.
The officer checked inside the vehicle, and it appeared nothing had been tampered with.
The owner of the vehicle, Eric M. Galloway, 2570 Helser Hall, said nothing was missing from the car. Estimated damage is $200.
- Intimidation reported from Davidson Hall.
- Mohd S. Musli, 1400 Hawthorn Court, reported his bicycle was stolen from outside of his unit Monday morning.
He said the bike was not locked at the time of the theft. The bike was later recovered.
- Report of theft of CDs from 2248 Friley Hall.
- David J. Kapparos, 5132 Storms Hall, reported he had locked his bicycle to the chain fence on the north side of Parks Library. When he returned, the bike was gone. Estimated loss is $300.
- Someone at 100 University Village reported two abandoned bicycles on the south side of 100 University Village.
The bikes were tagged and placed in DPS’ impound shed. Estimated total value of both bikes is $20.
- Matthew S. Jones, 2300 Mortensen Road #18, reported that while his vehicle was parked in Lot 24, someone damaged the passenger side door and quarter panel. It looked as though someone used a key and scratched the length of the vehicle. Estimated damage is $200.
- Burglary and breaking and entering reported at 133B University Village.
Oct. 7
- Burglary and breaking and entering reported at 1464 Hawthorn Court.
- Lori Meyer, 206 Beardshear Hall, reported someone had entered her office and took her computer, CPU and Zip drive. Estimated loss is $1, 899.95.
- Property damage accident reported at 1444 Hawthorn Court.
- Steven A. Bergom, 4356 Wallace Hall, reported he has received several harassing phone calls from an unknown caller.
- Accident at Union Drive and Bissell Road, property damage only.
