After the game

I just have a couple of words pertaining to the Monday, Oct. 27 issue of the Daily. In the article about the arrests of those who fled the field after Saturday’s victory against Baylor, Officer Stewart was quoted saying that none of the officials were using chemical sprays and it must have been a fan.

I, too, along with one of my friends, was the lucky recipient of pepper spray. I saw that it was a female officer, and I believe she was a state trooper. The thing that irritates me the most is that she was spraying into the stands; we weren’t even on the field. So, let’s hear it for the law enforcement at the game!

Also, President Jischke is thinking about purchasing break-away goal posts. I have a great idea — why don’t we just raise tuition another five, maybe 10 percent? I think that should be able to cover most of the costs.
