I was disgusted to read the front page article in the Oct. 28 issue of the Daily. A neighborhood is actually trying to deprive people of Ames from their right of “freedom of religion!”

The actual building of the mosque should have happened a long time ago, in my opinion. The article even stated that the Muslim community has been using a house for worship for the past 15 years, and now is their chance to have a mosque in this diverse town. Give it up, Iowa Avenue neighbors. LET FREEDOM RING!
