Singer/songwriter John Prine has announced that he will stop in Ames on November 7 as a part of his current tour with guitarist Leo Kottke.

Tickets went on sale Monday and are available at all TicketMaster outlets for $24.50 and $25.50.

The show will be held at Stephens Auditorium at 8 p.m.

Prine is known for such storytelling hits as “Angel From Montgomery,” “Sam Stone,” “Dear Abby” and “Illegal Smile.”
