The welcome mat has been pulled away from Ames’ Muslim community by their religiously bigoted new neighbors, the Ross Road Neighborhood Association.

It seems to me that preserving religious intolerance on Ross Road is much more important for the local residents than openly accepting spiritual diversity with an Islamic mosque on Iowa Avenue. I see that religious discrimination successfully thrives in Ames, Iowa, and it is a negative reflection of everyone here who silently condones it.
