Cyclone Jon Levy finished tied for 32nd with a 222. Scott Hart carded a 226 to place 46th.
Levy said, “It was a great field. Probably the best tournament we’ve played in a couple of years.”
He said despite the fact the team was not pleased with the outcome of the meet, with the level of competition “it could have been worse.”
“The 36 holes on the first sday, we maybe mentally broke down. We can improve on that.”
Levy added, “Our second round killed us. We really struggled. I don’t know if it was our concentration or what. We definitely needed to play better in the second round. That shot us out of the tournament.”
Other ISU finshers included Jon Brackmann with a 228 in placing 50th and Aaron Patton notched a three-round total of 229 to tie for 53th.
The host team of the tournament, the Minnesota garnered the team title.

Levy said although the last week has not gelled for the team as much as they had hoped, he t hinks that things are looking up.
“I think our team is definitely growing and the more tournaments we pay, the better I think we’re going to get,” Levy said. ” Maybe as the team starts to get closer together, we’ll start trustng ourselves more. And maybe get more confindence out of that.”
