The Ames Area Amateur Astronomers will be holding their monthly public star party, “Learn the Constellations!” this Saturday, Sept. 20.

The party will take place at 8 p.m. in the Story County Conservation Center.

Jack Troeger, Ames Area Amateur Astronomers member, will give an animated introduction to the constellations.

Interested people are also invited to attend the group’s monthy meeting, which begins at 7:30 p.m.

Participants should bring binoculars if possible and dress for the weather. No registration or fees are required.
