On July 26, you can join with at least 150 other “Rocky Horror Picture Show” fans to “do the time warp again” at the movie’s 22nd Birthday Party hosted by Billy Joe’s Pitcher Show.

“Rocky Horror Picture Show” is designed for audience participation. With admission, movie-goers get door prizes, Magenta’s juice and cookies and survival kits. The survival kits will include rice, newspapers, a playing card and a rubber glove. Some kits will have prizes in them, like posters or free admission to future Rocky showings.

The live cast, Timewarp, will be performing and the original movie trailer will be displayed. Fans can also join the official fan club.

Arnie Williams, music director at Billy Joe’s, said reserve tickets have even been sold to people from Arizona and Colorado.

“Apparently, Billy Joe’s is one of the last few places that shows ‘Rocky’ on a regular basis,” Williams said, “Billy Joe’s was also named one of the top 13 screens in the nation to show the movie.”

Billy Joe’s Pitcher Show is located at 1701 25th Street in West Des Moines. Doors will open at 11:30 and the movie starts at midnight. Admission is $9 for advance tickets and $10 at the door.
