The Ames/ISU Bicycle Committee has a vacancy for an additional member due to the recent resignation of one of its members. The term of office for this position, which focuses on Ames bike paths and bicycle safety, will begin in August and will expire on April 1, 2000.

This committee advises the City Council on designation of marked routes on streets and the location of bike paths, assists with education of the public on cycling safety and notifies staff of special traffic or roadway problems.
