Daily Staff Writer

June 9

* Matt Darbyshire, 121 Pearson Hall, reported that the overhead video projector was taken from Room 210, in Bessey Hall. When the room was checked at 4:00 P. M. on Friday, the projector was in the room at that time. No suspects. Estimated loss is $7,825.

* Marcus Clark, 2513 Hunt St., reported that while his vehicle was parked in Lot S-3, someone broke out the passenger side window and deflated the right rear tire. He said that nothing was taken from the vehicle.

* Jaimie Lynnette Tolbert, 145F University Village, reported that while her vehicle was parked in her parking stall, someone cracked her windshield. She said that she had noticed a group of kids playing around it earlier in the day but can’t say that they are the ones who broke it. Estimated damage is $150.

June 10

* Kehinde Aderemi Agbaje, 1223 Hawthorn Court, reported that her daughter had been dropped off at the wrong bus stop and had almost been hit by a car. Officer called the bus company and talked with a supervisor. This case has been referred to DHS.

* Khalil A. Ziq, 109C University Village, reported that his son’s bicycle was stolen from their front porch. He said that the bike was in the fenced in portion of the porch. Estimated loss is $90.

June 12

* All other offenses, Davidson Hall. ISU employee injured.

* Barbara K. Whitaker, G29 Memorial Union, one of the Veishea offices in the Union, reported that the safe Veishea was leasing from ASI Office Experts was taken from outside of Room G29 in the Memorial Union. Estimated loss is $385.00.

* Anne E. Griswold, 4925 12th Ave., Grandville, Mich., reported that while she was signing up for an e-mail account she left her ISUCard at the desk in Curtiss Hall. When she returned, the card was gone. The ISUCard office was notified.

* Rosana Malpassi, 6170 Buchanan Hall, reported that she has been receiving harassing phone calls. She said the caller never said anything and only plays classical music.

June 13

* Mary K. Sand, 210A MacKay Hall, reported that she had received an obscene telephone call on her audix.

June 14

* Denise Twedt, 2311 Wallace Hall, reported that she had left her rings in the shower room in Wallace Hall. When she returned, the rings were gone. Estimated loss is $400.

* A machine was found open. A message was left with the answering service about the machine.

* Janet Arcand, 700 S. Dakota #202, reported that while her vehicle was parked in

Lot 29 someone took the front right hub cap. Estimated loss is $15.

* Kelly Arbuckle, 409 Cedar St., Boone, reported that while he was in a boat on Lake Laverne, collecting samples of water, someone took the little red wagon that was under a pine tree. The wagon belongs to ISU’s Department of Animal Ecology. Estimated loss is $25.

* Adion Jimson Chinkuyu, 1536 Hawthorn Court, reported that while he was working out at the Lied Recreation/Athletic Center, someone took his wallet. He stated that the wallet was in a black bag, which he had placed next to the upstairs track while he ran. Estimated loss is $5.

* DPS arrested Farrel C. Miller, 2518 Knapp St., for public intoxication, after officer observed him take a chair from the front of McDonald’s, in the 200 block of Welch Ave. Officer administered field sobriety tests to Miller, which he failed. Miller was placed under arrest for public intoxication.

* Qais Yacob Aldoub, 2246 Friley Hall, reported that while his vehicle was parked at Lied Recreation Center someone entered his vehicle and took his wallet and radio adapter out of the glove compartment. No signs of forced entry was found on the vehicle. Estimated loss is $30.
