Contradictions galore

“Creative enough?” That is the question posed at the end of Jayadev Athreya’s article, “Chemistry in the NBA comes from college.” Well, Mr. Athreya, I do think that you have come up with an original topic. Apparently, you don’t.

With the title, I was prepared for an article of pointless drivel about how college teammates found each other in the NBA, and succeeded where others might have not.

Please stick to your points.

You started good for the first half of the article, but then you completely contradicted what you were trying to prove in the last half of the article (even the bold print half way down contradicts the title).

Your article not only contradicts with the total content, but you also contradict your own statements in the same breath. “I’m on a first name basis with all professional athletes.” So are you then referring to Kerr Steve, Williams Brian, and Buechler Jed? They must play for the Bulls Chicago.

Parenthetically speaking, can one of your articles go with out mentioning Jordan with deity-like praise?

Jordan himself has made it known that he has “failed over and over. And that is why he succeeds.”

By the way, the NBA season is over — for a few months, that is. Humor your audience and at least talk about something that is current, like the WNBA.
