Last semester, I bought about $148 worth of books for my classes which I sold back at the end of the semester and received $24. How could these books decrease on value by 83 percent in four months?

I think the students need to come together and people within the same major swap books. By avoiding the middleman, students would be able to get equal value for their books instead of losing 75 percent to 83 percent or more of their book value.
